We are Jacco, Nuño, Gino,Mayser,Jay and Indelmar (from left to right) and our subject is spare time.
Gino: I am 14 years old, almost 15. My hobbies are basketball and chilling with friends. I like to cook with my mom, she's a great cook! I like to help her out in the kitchen. I have one older brother and we live with our parents. I have aquarium with 5 fishies in it :-) My ambition is to study law, I'm not sure yet if I want to be a judge, lawyer or anything else in law. I will find out when I'm older, I guess.
Mayser(group leader): I am 14 years old, in 3 months I will be 15 years old. My hobbies are gaming and soccer. Whenever I have free time, I like to game and play soccer. I live in Berkel with my parents, my brother and my sister. I live in the Netherlands for almost 7 years now. Before, I lived in Iraq and Syria. I have two cats, their names are Mishmish and Toffee. My ambition is to become a medical doctor. My favourite food is chicken!
Jay: I am 15 years old and my hobbies are karate and running. I practice karate twice a week and I go running everyday. I live with my mom and my stepdad. I have older brother and an older sister and one baby brother. My favourite subject at school is physical education, because I like move a lot.
Indelmar: I am 14 years old and my hobbies are soccer and gaming. I play soccer twice a week at TOGB and we have one matchday a week. In my spare time I like to game a lot. I have a younger sister and a younger brother. In the future, I want to do something in sports. My favourite subject at school is physical education. My favourite food is chicken.

The interviews were not videotaped and no pictures were taken, because of the privacy of the interviewed persons. We descided to type along instead of filming, so we could write down all the answers. Later on, we made a summary about the interviews. (This is a school regulation)

2.3 Conclusion
Parents: The fathers worked more and the mothers had more spare time. They had to work for their money. The fathers had to work for their money and mothers had more spare time. Mothers used to stay at home to watch after the kids. The fathers played more football and mothers went to the city. They all had little spare time. They all used their spare differently. The fathers lived in big families and the mothers lived in smaller families. They all used their spare time with families .Spare time with family was important for them.
Grandparents: They all got pocket money, but they had to work if they wanted more money than they got from their parents. The families of the grandparents consisted of much more people. They all had a lot of siblings. They had a different origin. All grandparents spent their spare time wisely they say.
Today: We get pocket money and we also get the possibility to work. But we all have to go to school, so working can only be done in the weekends or after school. We spent our spare time doing sports, but we also use more social media than our parents and grandparents.
Part 3: Conclusion: comparison and reflection
3.1 Comparison
In our comparison between the parents and grandparents, we found out that the grandparents had not much technology and the parents had the first mobile phone or that the parents had the chance to go out or to a club and the grandparent not really. The parents had a different way of spending spare time. The fathers worked more and the mothers worked less. Research has shown that the fathers had worked more and less leisure time, while the mothers had a lot of free time and often went to the city. All parents spent their most free time outside. The fathers had to chores and help their parents to obtain, but the mothers got their pocket money weekly from their parents. The fathers lived together in larger families, but on the other hand, the mothers lived together in smaller families. The parents had more spare time left then the grandparents because the parents worked less.
The differences between our grandpas and grandmas are sometimes large due to origin.
Some of the families of the grandparents were very large. Nowadays, families are not as large. Grandparents had to work more to have money for theirselves when they were young. The youth today will get more pocket money and they can work if they want to earn more.
3.2 Answering the main questionAnswer to main question:
How has the way that teenagers spend their spare time changed? A lot of things changed in the last couple of years. It is a evolution of the world. In Holland are a lot of different ways to spend our spare time. Important reasons for this are: the change of laws, environment and of course new technology. India is also a totally different country with other laws, environment and other things. People have different hobbies and they make choices that affect their way of spending spare time. In the future there will be more ways to spend your spare time and do the things that you like. The future is going to be really interesting, because the people will change and that is going to affect how people use their spare time.
3.3 Reflection
We chose to work together, because we are best friends and we can work really hard together. In the beginning we didn’t know what to expect from this task, but after a little explanation we understood what to do. We had a discussion about who is going to interview who. After the interviews we talked to the group that we were attached to and we had a fun conversation and we all laughed very hard. After that we had to answer to the question on this Google drive document. Our team work was great and we had a really fun time working on this project and we also made some indian friends. It was a really nice experience!!
